About Patly

How an order works

  1. Scan the table QR

The menu opens in the phone's browser, with photos and prices. No app to install and no account needed.

  2. Order and pay

The customer gets a short order code like B-47. They pay online, or show the code at the counter and the cashier taps Paid.

  3. Pick up when it's ready

The kitchen sees the order the moment it is paid. The customer's phone and the pickup board show when it is ready.

For customers

Order from the table on any phone, even on weak mobile data. Follow the order live: paid, preparing, ready.

For your store

A cashier screen, a kitchen display and a ready board, all in the browser on your phone or tablet. No other software needed.

The problem

At lunch, the line at the counter is the slowest part.

One cashier hears each order, keys it in and takes payment, and only then can the kitchen start cooking.

  • Customers spend their break in the queue and get back to work late.
  • Some see the line and walk away, and the store loses the sale.
  • However fast the kitchen is, one cashier sets the store's pace.

A lunch break today ~50 min before eating

About 30 minutes to queue, order and pay, then about 20 minutes for the kitchen.

With Patly Patly's goal: scan to paid in under 3 min

Patly aims for under 3 minutes from scan to paid, then the same 20 minutes for the kitchen.

Typical times at a busy carinderia. Under 3 minutes is the goal Patly is built for, not a measured result. Cooking time doesn't change; the queue goes away.

Why Patly

More orders through the same counter

The cashier stops taking orders and only confirms payments. The kitchen works from paid tickets in the order they were paid.

The kitchen display: tickets move from Paid to Preparing to Ready with one tap each.
  • One tap at the counter

Customers order on their own phones. The cashier finds the code and taps Paid, or does nothing when they paid online.

  • Cook only what's paid

The kitchen starts when an order is paid. Unpaid orders expire, so nothing is cooked for a no-show.

  • Your payments, your account

GCash, Maya and card payments go through your own PayMongo account, straight to you. Cash at the counter still works.

  • Use what you have

Runs in the browser on the phones and tablets you already own. Customers don't install anything.

  • Keeps going offline

If the internet drops, the staff screens keep the orders and send your taps when the connection is back.

  • Sold out and sales at a glance

Mark an item sold out in one tap and customers stop seeing it. See today's orders, sales and fees in one report.

Pricing: a small fee per order and no software to buy. You choose whether to absorb it or show it on the customer's bill.
